YOUR BUSINESS. YOUR BOUNDARIES.
A clear scope.
A considered process.
Deep Labs is a TDV brand focused on licensing company-owned operational data for AI development. Your assessment starts a review of the opportunity. It does not grant access to your systems or rights to your records.
01 · Begin with a description.
The supplier assessment collects company and contact details and a high-level description of the records. It does not accept dataset uploads, connect accounts, request credentials or automatically forward your answers to a lab. Keep raw records and confidential examples out of the form.
02 · Confirm authority and rights.
Before considering a sample, our review needs to establish who can authorize a license, who produced the material, and what restrictions apply. Customer, employee, vendor and client obligations can limit what is included. Existing licenses and exclusivity must be reviewed. An owner’s access to a system does not by itself establish every right needed to license its contents.
03 · Agree what is in scope.
A proposed scope should identify the systems, record types, date ranges, exclusions, intended uses and permitted recipients. You review the scope before any export or access. The agreement must specify what Deep Labs may license onward and the restrictions that apply. You do not commit to a license by submitting an assessment.
04 · Define preparation and access.
The handling plan must identify how an agreed copy will be prepared, where processing occurs, who may access it, and what redaction or de-identification is required. Where system access is needed, permissions and revocation must be agreed; passwords and secrets should never be sent through the intake. Sensitive categories require a specific review rather than an automatic approval.
05 · Review the prepared sample and delivery terms.
Before onward delivery, agree the sample-review process, quality checks, recipient restrictions, transfer method, retention periods and deletion obligations. De-identification needs to preserve useful workflow relationships while reducing identifying information. It cannot be treated as a blanket guarantee that re-identification is impossible.
06 · Put acceptance and payment in writing.
Deep Labs’ intended supplier model is a direct license for an agreed package. Price, ownership, exclusivity, permitted use, acceptance criteria, payment milestones and any ongoing rights belong in the agreement. The calculator is an illustration, not a purchase offer. Timing depends on scope, review and the agreed commercial terms.
Ask before you share.
If the rights or sensitivity are uncertain, choose “Not sure” in the assessment and describe the question at a high level. We can review the next step without receiving the underlying records.
